Input-to-state stability of interconnected hybrid systems

We consider the interconnections of arbitrary topology of a finite number of ISS hybrid systems and study whether the ISS property is maintained for the overall system. We show that if the small gain condition is satisfied, then the whole network is ISS and show how a non-smooth ISS-Lyapunov function can be explicitly constructed in this case. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. Integral Input-to-State Stability for Interconnected Discrete-Time Systems

In this paper, we investigate integral input-to-state stability for interconnected discrete-time systems. The system under consideration contains two subsystems which are connected in a feedback structure. We construct a Lyapunov function for the whole system through the nonlinearly-weighted sum of Lyapunov functions of individual subsystems. We consider two cases in which we assume that one of...

Stability Analysis of Interconnected Hybrid Dynamical Systems

In the present paper we establish some new stability results for interconnected hybrid (resp., discontinuous) dynamical systems. Our results are phrased in terms of the qualitative properties of systems components (subsystems) and constraints imposed on the system interconnecting structure. This viewpoint makes it frequently possible to overcome diiculties encountered in the stability analysis ...

Input-to-state stability of Lur'e systems

An input-to-state stability theory, which subsumes results of circle criterion type, is developed in the context of continuous-time Lur’e systems. The approach developed is inspired by the complexified Aizerman conjecture.

Input-to-state stability of impulsive and switching hybrid systems with time-delay

This paper investigates input-to-state stability (ISS) and integral input-to-state stability (iISS) of impulsive and switching hybrid systems with time-delay, using the method of multiple Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals. It is shown that, even if all the subsystems governing the continuous dynamics, in the absence of impulses, are not ISS/iISS, impulses can successfully stabilize the system in ...
