چکیده
We study transition rates and cross sections from first principles in a spatially flat radiation dominated cosmology. consider model of scalar particles to scattering heavy particle production pair annihilation, drawing more general conclusions. The S-matrix formulation is ill suited these ubiquitous processes rapidly expanding introduce physically motivated adiabatic expansion that relies on wavelengths much smaller than the horizon at given time. leading order this dominates sections. Several important results are direct consequences cosmological redshift finite horizon: i) violation local Lorentz invariance, ii) freeze-out section time, iii) sub-threshold heavier as consequence uncertainty energy horizon, manifestation \emph{antizeno} effect. If dark matter produced via annihilation lighter species, yields an enhanced abundance. discuss several possible effects.

Particle Production in Matrix Cosmology
We consider cosmological particle production in 1+1 dimensional string theory. The process is described most efficiently in terms of anomalies, but we also discuss the explicit mode expansions. In matrix cosmology the usual vacuum ambiguity of quantum fields in time-dependent backgrounds is resolved by the underlying matrix model. This leads to a finite energy density for the ”in” state which c...
متن کاملParticle Production in the New Inflationary Cosmology
Techniques are developed for computing particle production due to the time dependence of a scalar field expectation value during a phase transition. We review the new version of the inflationary universe and discuss baryon production in this model. 1. Introduction. In the big bang cosmology, the universe may undergo a series of phase transitions as it cools. Under such circumstances it is likel...
متن کاملHeavy particle production during reheating
We discuss production of heavy particles during reheating. We find that the very energetic inflaton decay products can contribute to the production of massive stable particles, either through collisions with the thermal plasma, or through collisions with each other. If such reactions exist, the same massive particles can also be produced directly in inflaton decay, once higher–order processes a...
متن کاملParticle Production in Cosmology and Imaginary Time Method
After brief personal recollections of the author’s long-time friendship with Misha Marinov the problem of particle production by classical timevarying scalar field is discussed. In the quasiclassical limit the calculations are done by imaginary time method developed, in particular, in Marinov’s works. The method permits to obtain simple analytical expressions which well agree with the later fou...
