Intermediate mass-ratio inspirals with dark matter minispikes

چکیده
The dark matter (DM) distributed around an intermediate massive black hole (IMBH) forms overdensity region called DM minispike. We consider the binary system which consists of IMBH with minispike and a small inspiralling in eccentric orbits. factors affect evolution orbit include gravity system, dynamical friction accretion caused by minispike, radiation reaction gravitational waves (GWs). Using method osculating orbit, we find that when semi-latus rectum $p\ensuremath{\ll}{10}^{5}{R}_{s}$ (${R}_{s}$ is Schwarzschild radius IMBH) dominated are from reaction. When $p\ensuremath{\gg}{10}^{5}{R}_{s}$, dominates orbital evolution. existence leads to deviation Keplerian such as extra precession, henceforth phase shift GW waveform. By calculating signal-to-noise ratio for GWs without minispikes mismatch between them, show effect waveforms can potentially be detected future space-based detectors LISA, Taiji, Tianqin.

Can we Detect Intermediate Mass Ratio Inspirals?
Gravitational waves emitted during intermediate-mass-ratio inspirals (IMRIs) of intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs) into supermassive black holes could represent a very interesting source for LISA. Similarly, IMRIs of stellar-mass compact objects into IMBHs could be detectable by Advanced LIGO. At present, however, it is not clear what waveforms could be used for IMRI detection, since the pos...
متن کاملMonopoles, Axions and Intermediate Mass Dark Matter
We present a solution to the cosmological problem encountered in (supersymmetric) grand unified theories due to copious monopole production at the end of hybrid inflation. By employing thermal inflation “driven” by the U(1) axion symmetry, the superheavy monopole flux can be naturally suppressed to values that should be accessible to dedicated large scale experiments. The U(1) axion symmetry al...
متن کاملDetection Strategies for Extreme Mass Ratio Inspirals
The capture of compact stellar remnants by galactic black holes provides a unique laboratory for exploring the near horizon geometry of the Kerr spacetime. The gravitational radiation produced by these Extreme Mass Ratio Inspirals (EMRIs) encodes a detailed map of the black hole geometry, and the detection and characterization of these signals is a major science driver for the LISA observatory....
متن کاملStrategies for observing extreme mass ratio inspirals
I review the status of research, conducted by a variety of independent groups, aimed at the eventual observation of Extreme Mass Ratio Inspirals (EMRIs) with gravitational wave detectors. EMRIs are binary systems in which one of the objects is much more massive than the other, and which are in a state of dynamical evolution that is dominated by the effects of gravitational radiation. Although t...
متن کامل(Sort of) Testing relativity with extreme mass ratio inspirals
The inspirals of “small” (1−100M⊙) compact bodies through highly relativistic orbits of massive (several ×105 M⊙− several ×106 M⊙) black holes are among the most anticipated sources for the LISA gravitational-wave antenna. The measurement of these waves is expected to map the spacetime of the larger body with high precision, allowing us to test in detail the hypothesis that black hole candidate...
