Internal migration patterns of foreign citizens in Italy

چکیده
Internal migration has a strong impact on population redistribution, and plays significant role in social cohesion. In Italy, the foreign is mosaic made up of minorities with different demographic characteristics. The aim this study to unveil, by means gravity model using data from Italian register 2014 2017, differences between national citizens’ inter-provincial patterns. Some migrants, such as Ukrainian citizens, follow process spatial assimilation while others, case Chinese respond call networks. played distance making these moves also different, varies citizenship citizenship: Indians Albanians are more willing travel longer distances; conversely, Romanians Ukrainians frequently opt for shorter moves.
