Recent studies on atypical interoceptive capabilities have focused clinical populations, including anorexia nervosa[1,2]. The present exploratory study aims to characterize the influence of disordered eating symptomology in college students, a population for which dangerous dieting behaviors may emerge. Ninety-nine participants were randomized consume blinded high calorie or low midday shake. Participants reported frequency disorder cognitions and behaviors; indicated changes satiety, happiness, energy pre- post-consumption; guessed calories their Outcomes (perceived mood, caloric guess) regressed symptoms scores, high/low shake condition, interaction between these predictors.
