چکیده
This article attempts to examine the recent developments that have amplified consequences of uncertainty regarding trade between Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) countries under global economic turmoil such as occurred in 2008 financial crisis wars sparked by USA COVID-19 pandemic. These events severely affected intraBRICS investment. For this purpose, we employed Westerlund Edgerton cointegration approach check for structural breaks procedure asymmetric Granger non-causality test assess causal relationship custom tariff export variables BRICS with regard panel data methodology 2000-2020 period using annual data. The empirical results indicate presence a long-term relationship; other words, they are seen move together investigation. estimated breakpoints correspond ongoing 2018-2020 rising disputes China. In addition, provides enough evidence show opposite directions (signs) links run from tariffs exports countries.

A Panel Data Analysis of South Korea’s Trade with OPEC Member Countries: The Gravity Model Approach
Abstract T his paper explains bilateral trade patterns between South Korea and thirteen OPEC member countries over the period 1980-2014 using a gravity model. The estimation results show that the gravity equation fits the data reasonably well. We confirmed the existence of long term relationships between the bilateral trade flows and the main components of gravity model - ...
متن کاملDetection of structural breaks in linear dynamic panel data models
This paper develops a method for testing for the presence of a single structural break in dynamic panel data models with a multi-factor error structure. The test statistic is developed by combining a modified version of the GMM approach of Robertson and Sarafidis (2015) with the testing procedure of De Wachter and Tzavalis (2012). We focus on the case where N is large and T fixed. The asymptoti...

he main purpose of this research is to answer the question that "How neighborhood of Iran's trading partners will have an effect on Iran intra-industry trade? For this purpose, the impact of spatial neighborhood effects of 23 major trade partners on Iran’s intra-industry trade for the period of 1995-2014, has been investigated through Spatial Panel Econometric and Maximum Likelihood Estimator (...
متن کاملInvestigating Structural Breaks in UK Manufacturing Trade
Sequential break-dating procedures, proposed in Banerjee and Urga (1995a,b), allow breaks to be determined by the data, avoiding a priori imposition. In this paper, the methods are brieey introduced and then utilised to analyse UK foreign trade within the context of the LBS model. The break-dates for both imports and exports equations are robust to a range of sensitivity analyses, are found at ...
