چکیده

Background: Endometrial thickness is one of the major factors for a receptive endometrium and successful implantation. Thin endometrium, generally measuring <7 mm are thought to be less able support implantation pregnancy. Several adjuvants have been investigated their efficacy on thin in assisted reproductive technology. Granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) glycoprotein that promotes endometrial stromal cell decidualization via cyclic adenosine monophosphate mediator induces proliferation differentiation. This study was done evaluate effect G-CSF improving pregnancy rate infertile patients undergoing stimulated IUI (intrauterine instillation) having endometrium. Methods: non-randomized clinical trial among 40 with (<7 mm) day ovulation trigger patients. Study subjects were non randomly allocated into 2 groups. In group A 20 received intrauterine instillation (300 mcg/0.5 ml) catheter triggering B another 0.5 ml normal saline same procedure. After 48 hours measured both day. Pregnancy detected by serum beta hCG level after 14 days IUI.Results: groups most respondents aged between 30-34 years, (70%) 11 (55%) B. The mean±SD age 32.4±3.1 A, 32.2±3.4 P value 0.9. minimum 4.4 treatment G-CSF, it found 6.3 mm. maximum recorded 6.9 also increased 8.7 followed min 4.8 increase 5.2 max 6.8 ET (mm) ovarian 5.8±0.8 which 7.4±0.8 5.9±0.6 7.1±0.9 mean change (mean±SD) 1.6±0.7 greater than 1.3±0.8. The efficacy of intrauterine instillation of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor in infertile women with a thin endometrium: A pilot study

OBJECTIVE The study aimed to investigate the efficacy of intrauterine instillation of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) on the day of ovulation triggering or oocyte retrieval in infertile women with a thin endometrium. METHODS Fifty women whose endometrial thickness (EMT) was ≤8 mm at the time of triggering during at least one previous in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle and an ind...

Background Is G-CSF has any effects on cancelled ART cycle due to thin endometrium. This study showed the beneficial effects of G-CSF on thin endometrium. In two previous studies, some beneficial effects were reported and in another no effects were seen. MaterialsAndMethods In a nonrandomized clinical trial, fifteen cases were evaluated from June 2011 till September 2012. All cases had history ...

Abstract Background This study was conducted to evaluate the clinical effect of Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (GCSF) on prognosis of neonatal sepsis. Materials and Methods Present study is a double- blinded randomized clinical trial, conducted on 46 preterm infants with neutropenia (Absolute Neutrophil Count (ANC) ≤ 5000 / μL) and clinical sepsis. Infants were randomly allocated ...

Evaluation of the Efficacy and Side Effects of Catheter-Specific Intrauterine Insemination in Infertile Couples, a Randomized Clinical Trial

Introduction: Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is one of the assisted reproductive techniques, which increases the likelihood of egg being exposed to sperm in the uterus and thus the chances of pregnancy. The purpose of the present study was to compare the efficiency of the Masstec catheter (the internal product) with imported catheter (PMIU) so that, if similar, use domestic production as an al...
