Investigating Competency‐Based Learning Implementation at the Northern Border University (NBU): A Descriptive Analytical Study

Competency-Based Learning implementation has become a necessity at the Northern Border University (NBU), kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). However, there are still lot challenges that need to be faced. In an attempt overcome some these challenges, this study conducted identify awareness level competency-based learning among EFL faculty and assess extent which teaching practices, as well course descriptions, supportive NBU? The descriptive-analytical method was used in study. sample included all members (both male & female) English Foreign Language (EFL) NBU during academic year 2020–2021. To achieve objectives study, self-report questionnaire elicit information about learning. also views regarding their practices descriptions used.
