Isoentropic equations of state of $$\beta $$-stable hadronic matter with a quark phase transition

Abstract We construct isoentropic equations of state (EOSs) $$\beta $$ β -stable dense hadronic matter considering the possibility that a quark deconfinement phase transition can take place. These conditions be actually realized in different astrophysical contexts like core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe), during early stages evolution newly formed neutron star (protoneutron star, PNS) or postmerger compact object binary (BNS) mergers. consider four EOSs to describe phase: three from relativistic mean field theory and one EOS recently derived microscopic calculations framework Brueckner–Hartree–Fock approach. combine these with obtained modified MIT-Bag model which takes into account some perturbative corrections grand canonical potential due quark–quark interaction. The two phases are then joined up through Gibbs construction. For each we study thermal neutrino trapping effects on composition consequently EOS. finally determine PNS static structure integrating Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff equations. find contribution particularly effect play an important role full latter get softer stiffer according strangeness content phase. thus crucial provide proper description dynamical both BNS merger CCSN.
