Joint Deployment and Power Optimization for UAV Relay in Multiuser Networks

Within the UAV network, first receives signals from multiple remote mobile devices (MDs) and then amplifies forwards transmitted to base station (BS) with different amplification coefficients form a relay multiuser network. In this paper, we propose new method solve problem of maximizing throughput The proposed is decoupled into two subproblems, deployment design coefficient optimization, be solved iteratively, respectively. We by adjusting its trajectory gradient descent-based subproblem convex optimization-based iteratively. Simulation shows that optimization algorithm significantly improves sum-rate compared existing fixed equal power allocation schemes. Finally, discuss future potential performance enhancing methods including cooperation, massive multi-input multioutput (MIMO) communications, nonorthogonal access (NOMA) communications.
