Joint Estimation Method with Multi-Innovation Unscented Kalman Filter Based on Fractional-Order Model for State of Charge and State of Health Estimation

This study simulates the polarization effect during process of battery charging and discharging, investigates characteristics process. A fractional-order model (FOM) is established parameters FOM are identified with adaptive genetic algorithm. As Kalman filter estimation causes error accumulation over time, using multi-innovation unscented (FOMIUKF) a better choice for state charge (SOC) estimation. comparative shows that FOMIUKF has higher accuracy. multiple timescales-based joint algorithm SOC health to improve precision reduce amount computation. The used estimation, while UKF SOH then compared analyzed alongside other algorithms under different dynamic operating conditions. Experimental results show possesses high accuracy mean absolute 1% root square 1.35%.
