The Judo World Ranking List has been used to assess its predictive power regarding athletic performance. aim of this study was check if the ranking difference among athletes in individual rankings could be as a predictor for outcome mixed teams judo competition. We sought verify association between variable “rank difference” and probability higher-ranked athlete winning against that lower-ranked. This heterogeneity is major factor increasing or decreasing team’s chances winning. higher ranked athlete’s defeat seems have significant negative effect on his/her teammates subsequent bouts.
