چکیده
In the last years, increase of data availability together with enhanced computation capabilities empowered researchers to conceive production planning and control methods real-time inputs. Literature is rich techniques for using simulation take decisions online. However, it generally impractical test these approaches on real systems, experiments digital instances are limited because they do not capture physical aspects. This work proposes Real-time Simulation lab-scale models manufacturing systems a software architecture aligned industrial standards. Such allow reproduce material flows logic factory environments. By exploiting this setting new tools, possible their own achievable Technology Readiness Level (TRL). The laboratory has been used set rescheduling problem Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) model. involves current system state online identification implementation scheduling rule that decreases expected makespan. results testify proposed can be successfully approaches.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
a study on thermodynamic models for simulation of 1,3 butadiene purification columns
attempts have been made to study the thermodynamic behavior of 1,3 butadiene purification columns with the aim of retrofitting those columns to more energy efficient separation schemes. 1,3 butadiene is purified in two columns in series through being separated from methyl acetylene and 1,2 butadiene in the first and second column respectively. comparisons have been made among different therm...
An object-oriented simulation framework for real-time control of automated flexible manufacturing systems
This paper describes an object-oriented simulation approach for the design of a flexible manufacturing system that allows the implementation of control logic during the system design phase. The object-oriented design approach is built around the formal theory of supervisory control based on Finite Automata. The formalism is used to capture inter-object relationships that are difficult to identi...
متن کاملReal-Time Control of Distributed Large Scale Flexible Manufacturing
Due to the ever-increasing computational capabilities and the increasing use of automated manufacturing, distributed large-scale, discrete-event manufacturing system controllers are being proposed and designed. Currently there is a large amount of research in the area of simulation of manufacturing systems, scheduling and some research in the control of automated manufacturing plants. Even inte...
متن کاملEthernet-based Real-time Control Networks for Manufacturing Automation Systems
This paper presents a methodology to provide soft real-time guarantees over Ethernet. To resolve unpredictable delay characteristics of Ethernet, we designed, implemented, and evaluated adaptive traac smoothing. Speciically, a traac smoother is installed between the TCP/IP layer and the Ethernet MAC layer, and works as an interface between them. The traac smoother rst gives real-time (RT) packe...
