Abstract Transportation problem (TP) is a popular branch of Linear Programming Problem in the field engineering. Over years, attempts have been made finding improved approaches to solve TPs. Recently, Quddoos et al. (Int J Comput Sci Eng (IJCSE) 4(7): 1271–1274, 2012), an efficient approach, namely ASM, proposed for solving crisp However, it found that ASM fails provide better optimal solution some cases. Therefore, new and appoach this paper enhance inherent mechanism existing method both TPs Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Problems (TIFTPs). A least-looping stepping-stone has employed as one key factors improve quality, which version (Roy Hossain in, Operation research Titus Publication, 2015).
