چکیده
Objective: This in vitro study evaluated the effect of neolignan-containing solutions on dentin biomodificationpreviously applied to bonding procedure adhesive restorations. Material and Methods: Neolignans, dehydrodieugenol B–CP1 dehydrodieugenol B methyl ether–CP2, were isolated from Nectandra leucanthaand two aqueous containing 0.13% neolignans, 0.2% propylene glycol 3.0% ethanol prepared.Bovine teeth ground flat obtain 2-mm thick specimens which received resin composite restorations(N=10). The neolignan before (60 s). Experimental groups were:control, untreated group, 0.12% chlorhexidine gel, CP1 solution, CP2 solution. A push-outbond strength test was conducted (0.5 mm/min). Bovine tooth sections (0.5×1.7×7.0 mm) also obtained toassess modulus elasticity mass change after treatment (N=15). three-point bending theelastic fully demineralized dentine beams immersion solutions. data statisticallyanalyzed (a = 0.05). Results: bond restorations significantly improved by thetreatment with solutions, irrespective evaluation time (p<0.05). After 6 months, asignificant reduction observed treated (p>0.05), butthe means higher than control elastic demineralizeddentin All lost weight. Conclusion: longevity bonded restorations, possibly due dentinbiomodification neolignans. Marginal adaptation and microtensile bond strength of composite indirect restorations bonded to dentin treated with adhesive and low-viscosity composite.
OBJECTIVES This study evaluated the marginal adaptation of composite indirect restorations bonded with dual curing resin cement after different strategies to seal dentin. Different bonding techniques associated or not with a low-viscosity composite resin (LVCR) were utilized. In addition, the bond strength between composite resin and pre-sealed dentin was evaluated in the buccal and pulpal wall...

This study investigated factors associated with the longevity of resin composite restorations, which were placed in 97 patients (mean age of 58 years) by 24 dentists in Nagasaki University Hospital between 1995 and 2005. All patients were under the charge of the principal investigator (SK) and most of them had been regularly checked up for up to 11 years. A total of 503 resin composite restorat...

UNLABELLED The purpose of this article is to review evidence-based principles that could help optimize dentin bonding for indirect composite and porcelain restorations. More than 30 articles were reviewed, most of them addressing the specific situation of dentin bonding for indirect restorations. It appears that the combined results of this data plus clinical experience suggest the need for a r...

Three phenylpropanoid dimers (1-3) including two new metabolites were isolated from the extract of the twigs of Nectandra leucantha using antileishmanial bioassay-guided fractionation. The in vitro antiparasitic activity of the isolated compounds against Leishmania donovani parasites and mammalian cytotoxicity and immunomodulatory effects were evaluated. Compounds 1-3 were effective against the...
