Low-light Image Enhancement Using the Cell Vibration Model

Low light very likely leads to the degradation of an image's quality and even causes visual task failures. Existing image enhancement technologies are prone overenhancement, color distortion or time consumption, their adaptability is fairly limited. Therefore, we propose a new single low-light lightness method. First, energy model presented based on analysis membrane vibrations induced by photon stimulations. Then, unique mathematical properties combined with gamma correction model, global proposed. Furthermore, special relationship between intensity found. Finally, local fusion strategy, including segmentation, filtering fusion, proposed optimize details images. Experimental results show that algorithm superior nine state-of-the-art methods in avoiding distortion, restoring textures dark areas, reproducing natural colors reducing cost.
