Abstract This work demonstrates that magnetoelectric composite heterostructures can be designed at the length scale of 10 µ ms switched from a magnetized state to vortex state, effectively switching magnetization off, using electric field induced strain. was accomplished thin film Fe 81.4 Ga 18.6 on single crystal (011) [Pb(Mg 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 ] 0.68 -[PbTiO 0.32 (PMN-32PT) ferroelectric substrate.
