چکیده
Introduction: External cervical resorption (ECR) in advance stages may have a probable pulp involvement. In some of these cases, the accessibility resorptive process can be performed by an intraradicular approach. Aim: To report management ECR, classified as Class 2cp according to Patel classification, with internal Case report: A 22-year-old male patient presented complaint dentin hypersensitivity related left maxillary lateral incisor and reported history previous dental trauma. Based on clinical, radiographic tomographic findings, was diagnosed symptomatic irreversible pulpitis ECR class classification. The scheduled for endodontic treatment, approach, repair resorbed area. Intracanal dressing calcium hydroxide paste used root canal gaps. filling two steps: obturation apical middle third gutta-percha condensation technique area MTA. After 18 months signs symptoms compatible success were observed, images suggested successful treatment evolutionary bone mineralized tissues. Conclusion: through including conventional recovery reabsorbed MTA is viable option, but cause tooth discoloration.

Management of Tooth with Periapical Lesion and Severe External and Internal Root Resorption - 5 year Follow-Up - Two Case Reports
One of the main principles of endodontic treatment is the three-dimensional root canal filling, with a focus on filling the apical third of the root. The management of cases with periapical lesion and severe resorption internal and external, still remains a clinical challenge. Biological approaches of tissue engineering will yield new diagnostic and therapeutic way to repair soft tissue as well...

متن کاملCervical external root resorption: 3-year follow-up of a case.
Cervical external root resorption can be present in natural teeth, involving one or more teeth in the same patient. The incidence of these lesions appears random and the etiology remains unclear. Cervical external root resorption has been considered a difficult clinical situation, and its diagnosis and treatment of the defect challenging. The present report describes a case of multiple external...
متن کاملCervical external root resorption.
External resorptions associated with inflammation in marginal tissues present a difficult clinical situation. Many times, lesions are misdiagnosed and confused with caries and internal resorptions. As a result inappropriate treatment is often initiated. This paper provides three-dimensional representations of cervical external resorption, based on X-ray microfocus-tomographical scanning of a ca...
متن کاملInternal tunneling resorption associated with invasive cervical resorption
Treating pathological defects that are caused by resorption in teeth can be challenging. The task is complicated further if the resorption extends beyond the restrains of the root. The aim of this report is to describe a case of extensive internal tunneling resorption (ITR) associated with invasive cervical resorption (ICR) in a maxillary right lateral incisor and its nonsurgical treatment. A 2...
