Anaerobic Digestion is the most common process used for energy generation from sewage sludge but only one half of susceptible to biodegradation. Hydrothermal Carbonization considered an option harness all embedded in because its high-value products (Hydrochar and Process waters). The integration AD followed by HTC a recent approach that still under development. challenge provide evidence coupling with existing infrastructure at wastewater treatment works. In this work, mass study potential was evaluated. Six proposed configurations were built using primary sludge, secondary mix, order evaluate net waste generation, fate nutrients, production economic benefits. scenarios showed overall total solid COD reduction up 68 66% respectively. inclusion hydrochar as fuel source increased 10 times compared when biogas source. struvite ranged 0.02 0.06 kg per tonne treated. Scenarios 250 °C thermal temperature provided better benefits are considered.
