Material intensity database for the Dutch building stock: Towards Big Data in material stock analysis

چکیده
Re-use and recycling in the construction sector is essential to keep resource use check. Data availability about material contents of buildings significant challenge for planning future re-use potentials. Compiling intensity (MI) data time intensive. Often studies end up with only a handful datapoints. In order adequately cover diversity materials found cities, accurately assess stocks at detailed spatial scopes, many more MI datapoints are needed. this work, we present database on Dutch building stock, containing 61 large-scale demolition projects total 781 datapoints, representing than 306,000 square meters built floor space. This dataset representative types being demolished Netherlands. Our were empirically sourced collaboration company that explicitly focuses re-using components. The includes both structural component materials, covers wide range types, sizes, years. Compared existing literature, paper adds significantly detail different streams. increase volume necessary step toward enabling big methods, such as mining machine learning. Accounting for the Material Stock of Nations
National material stock (MS) accounts have been a neglected field of analysis in industrial ecology, possibly because of the difficulty in establishing such accounts. In this research, we propose a novel method to model national MS based on historical material flow data. This enables us to avoid the laborious data work involved with bottom-up accounts for stocks and to arrive at plausible level...
متن کاملMaterial Stock Demographics: Cars in Great Britain.
Recent literature on material flow analysis has been focused on quantitative characterization of past material flows. Fewer analyses exist on past and prospective quantification of stocks of materials in-use. Some of these analyses explore the composition of products' stocks, but a focus on the characterization of material stocks and its relation with service delivery is often neglected. We pro...
متن کاملA Common Weight Data Envelopment Analysis Approach for Material Selection
Material selection is one of the major problems in manufacturing environments since the improper selected material may lead to fail in the production processes and result in customer dissatisfaction and cost inefficiency. Every material has different properties which should be considered as major criteria during the material selection procedure. Selection criteria could be quantitative or quali...
متن کاملBig Data Stream Analytics for Correlated Stock Price Movement Prediction
While much research work has been devoted to big data analytics in the past few years, very few studies about big data stream analytics are conducted and reported in existing Big Data literature. Empowered by recent success on automated mining of dynamic business networks, this paper illustrates the design of a novel framework named BIDSTA that leverages big data stream analytics to predict cor...
متن کاملStock Seeker: Finding Correspondences in Stock Data∗
The problem of stock data analysis has been widely researched by stock analysts interested in detecting patterns in stocks. Resulting algorithms have dealt with many representations of stock data depending on the problem, many dealing with complex cases where patterns in stock data need to be matched despite differences in scale, translation, or noisiness. However, specific instances arise wher...
