The article presents a mathematical model of the heat transfer process when heating metal in furnace, which describes thermophysical processes that occur using industrial technology for castings. A simplified convective and radiant is based on conventional differential equations, allows to calculate time metal. It you evaluate furnace find its optimal parameters. widely used can be applied study casting any or alloy furnace. adequacy confirmed by comparing obtained results estimating parameters with experimental data.
