Maximal and typical topology of real polynomial singularities

چکیده

We study the structure of polynomial singularities given by semialgebraic conditions on jet maps from sphere to Euclidean space. prove upper and lower bounds for homological complexity these singularities. The bound is proved using a version stratified Morse Theory jets. For bound, we general result stating that small continuous perturbations C 1 manifolds can only enrich their topology. In case random maps, provide asymptotic estimates expectation complexity, generalizing classical results Edelman–Kostlan–Shub–Smale.

Real Polynomial Diffeomorphisms with Maximal Entropy: Tangencies

The problem of understanding the dynamical behavior of diffeomorphisms has played a central role in the field of dynamical systems. One way of approaching this question is to ask about generic behavior in the space of diffeomorphisms. Another way to approach it is to ask about behavior in some specific parametrized family. The family of diffeomorphisms of R introduced by Hénon has often played ...

Topology of Hypersurface Singularities

Kähler’s paper Über die Verzweigung einer algebraischen Funktion zweier Veränderlichen in der Umgebung einer singulären Stelle” offered a more perceptual view of the link of a complex plane curve singularity than that provided shortly before by Brauner. Kähler’s innovation of using a “square sphere” became standard in the toolkit of later researchers on singularities. We describe his contributi...

Singularities and Topology of Meromorphic Functions

We present several aspects of the “topology of meromorphic functions”, which we conceive as a general theory which includes the topology of holomorphic functions, the topology of pencils on quasi-projective spaces and the topology of polynomial functions.

Pointfree topology version of image of real-valued continuous functions

Let $ { mathcal{R}} L$ be the ring of real-valued continuous functions on a frame $L$ as the pointfree  version of $C(X)$, the ring of all real-valued continuous functions on a topological space $X$. Since $C_c(X)$ is the largest subring of $C(X)$ whose elements have countable image, this motivates us to present the pointfree  version of $C_c(X).$The main aim of this paper is to present t...
