Mechanical behavior of a full-scale RC wall-slab connection reinforced with frp under cyclic loading

This paper presents the results of two wall-slab connection tests to study effect composite reinforcement materials. The are carried out at Scale 1 on X-shaped connections with a wall and continuous floor either side node. geometry steel rebars tested specimens chosen in accordance European constructive practice [1]. is combination CFRP, GFRP, carbon mesh. To mechanical behavior node, displacement transducers, load cells, strain gauges, digital image correlation used. From analysis results, we observe that increases strength joint by 80%, ductility 33%. also changes failure mode from bending shear joint. By repositioning zone, energy dissipation 385%. proposed solution effective, can be applied existing structures no longer meet seismic safety requirements.
