Metaheuristic nature-inspired algorithms for reservoir optimization operation: a systematic literature review

<span>The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) article is to discuss the findings state-of-art metaheuristic nature-inspired algorithm (MHNIA) in reservoir optimization operation. The rationale approach elucidate optimal way as decision making that implemented MHNIA for several complex problems Commonly, has always been used hydrology field, especially optimization. Hence, presented study reviewed a considerable amount from previous studies commonly nature-based algorithms applied operations. preferred reporting items and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidance. source was utilized two primary journal databases: Scopus web science. According proposed search string, managed express into nine main themes which are optimize water release, operation problems, hydropower operation, condensate fluids storage, pumped quality control, system performance demand control flood preventing. Overall, 24 articles passed minimum were retrieved using searching strategies.</span>
