Method for Cartographic Symbols Creation in Connection with Map Series Digitization

The article addresses the issue of unification cartographic symbols in terms graphics (visual) and interpretation an international context. motivation is ongoing digitization processes conditions Industry 4.0, especially Construction where geodesy cartography have their irreplaceable share. aim was both to design uniform for description geographical objects on map a general method unified so that it independent specific applications. authors compared used works Czech Republic neighboring countries are members EU proposed formal properties symbols, which based mathematical model. takes form text string, Python algorithm built render symbol implemented QGIS environment. also presents comparison some selected proposal unification. effort unify language within EU. problem accordance with INSPIRE directive (seamless Europe) at level Digital Czechia 2018+ strategy national level.
