METHOD FOR INCREASING THE UNIFORMITY OF THE GAS-AIR MIXTURE IN INTERNAL COMBUSTION TRANSPORT ENGINES

Increasing the uniformity of gas-air mixture in gas transport engines makes it possible to ensure more complete combustion fuel, reduce its specific fuel consumption and exhaust toxicity. There are known ways increase uniformity, but there is no generalization their principles applicability for various engines. The article analyzes existing methods identifies shortcomings. A method has been developed by controlling position jet incoming air stream. dependence flow described. results experiments performed means computer modeling with central distributed supply different pressures analyzed. During experiments, coefficient was determined. Separately, depth penetration into stream estimated. Based on simulation results, effectiveness justified.
