چکیده
Public opinion has become increasingly critical of current logging methods and technologies, there is a demand for standards to guide the operations environmentally impactful industries. For many years, numerous researchers have studied impact on forest soils, revealing that high risk damaging soil during terrain transport. Here we analyse review total 105 publications in this area. This large body work demonstrates scientific interest field attracted. Despite this, important areas uncertainty concerning harvesting still remain. In particular, changes conditions can affect properties ways are not well understood, with possible impacts physical, chemical, biological soils as structure cover. While it difficult fully eliminate negative their adverse environmental consequences should be minimised because plays vital role tree regeneration helps determine productivity future stands. Some most frequently cited measures effective technological solutions minimize damage involve taking different technical into account when organising operations. Potentially helpful include selecting machines mechanisms suitable site conditions, using larger and/or low-pressure tyres, tyre pressure control, anti-skid tracks, track belts, meliorating wet areas, machinery incorporating global positioning systems geographic information systems. Planning help choosing wood system technology, accounting seasonal factors planning operations, networks roads trails advance, leaving residues or mats surface, training specialists, reducing number machine passes over skid strip roads. active applying sparing harvesting, uptake designed reduce after been limited. may due lack cost implementing best management practices. Moreover, economic production plans require throughout year, irrespective conditions. citation: Ilintsev A.S., Nakvasina E.N., Högbom L. Methods Protection Forest Soils Logging Operations (Review). environmental impacts of tree-length logging method on forest soils in kheyrud forest
in forest harvesting, there is an ongoing trend to increase constantly the size, power and load of logging machines. this may cause soil degradation in forest ecosystems as the passes of these machines modify important soil structural characteristics. the present study was conducted to examine impact of skidding traffic, trail slope, traffic frequency, and soil depth on bulk density and soil co...
متن کاملOperational monitoring of forest logging activities: an application of Precision Forestry approach for monitoring cable cranes logging operations
An important aspect to Precision Forestry (PFOR) is implementing operational monitoring of forest chain logistics. PFOR can be considered as the application of information technology (IT) to the forest sector. Its introduction has the aim to improve the efficiency and the performances of the forest sector, including all the related monitoring activities to satisfy management tasks. So PFOR has ...

Nacrtak Extracting logs from stump to landings causes extensive damages to forest stand and soil. In this research two parcels adjacent to each other were selected in order to assess the effect of traditional and mechanized methods of logging on regeneration and soil compaction. A skid trail and a mule trail with similar longitudinal slope, skidding direction and total volume of extracted wood ...
