Algorithms for Infeasible Path Calculation
Static Worst-Case Execution Time (WCET) analysis is a technique to derive upper bounds for the execution times of programs. Such bounds are crucial when designing and verifying real-time systems. A key component in static WCET analysis is to derive flow information, such as loop bounds and infeasible paths. Such flow information can be provided as either as annotations by the user, can be autom...
متن کاملIterative Process for an α- Nonexpansive Mapping and a Mapping Satisfying Condition(C) in a Convex Metric Space
We construct one-step iterative process for an α- nonexpansive mapping and a mapping satisfying condition (C) in the framework of a convex metric space. We study △-convergence and strong convergence of the iterative process to the common fixed point of the mappings. Our results are new and are valid in hyperbolic spaces, CAT(0) spaces, Banach spaces and Hilbert spaces, simultaneously.

In this paper, we present a metrics framework and the underlying concepts that were used to help structure a series of evaluations of software tools to support intelligence workers with their data filtering and analytic processes. The deployment of the tool suite and subsequent evaluations were part of the Terrorist Information Awareness (TIA) program, a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agenc...
متن کاملCamparison of Numerically Stability of Two Algorithms for the Calculation of Variance
In descriptive statistics, there are two computational algorithms for determining the variance S2, of a set of observations : Algorithm 1: S2= - , Algorithm 2: S2= , where . It is interesting to discuss, which of the above formulas is numerically more trustworthy in machine numbers sets. I this paper, based on total effect of rounding error, we prove that the second Algorithm is better...
متن کاملRADIANCE Visual Comfort Calculation
This document describes a visual comfort calculation developed by the LESO group at EPFL during Spring of 1991. The calculation uses the RADIANCE synthetic imaging system [Ward90] to compute luminance values from a computer model of an architectural space and the lighting and daylighting of that space. These luminance values are then applied to a selected glare calculation procedure to arrive a...
