MICROSCOPE mission: data analysis principle

چکیده
Abstract After performing highly sensitive acceleration measurements during two years of drag-free flight around the Earth, MICROSCOPE provided best constraint on weak equivalence principle (WEP) to date. Beside being a technological challenge, this experiment required specialised data analysis pipeline look for potential small signal buried in noise, possibly plagued by instrumental defects, missing and glitches. This paper describes frequency-domain iterative least-square technique that we developed MICROSCOPE. In particular, using numerical simulations, prove our estimator is unbiased provides correct error bars. therefore justifies robustness WEP given

Principle Component Analysis From Multiple Data Representation
For improving accuracy and increasing efficiency of classifier, there are available many effective techniques. One of them combining multiple classifier technique is used for this purpose. In this paper I present a novel approach to a combining algorithm designed to improve the accuracy of principle component classifier. This novel approach combines multiple PCA classifiers, each of using a sub...
متن کاملA Semantic Data Grid for Satellite Mission Quality Analysis
The combination of Semantic Web and Grid technologies and architectures eases the development of applications that share heterogeneous resources (data and computing elements) that belong to several organisations. The Aerospace domain has an extensive and heterogeneous network of facilities and institutions, with a strong need to share both data and computational resources for complex processing...
متن کاملImage force microscopy of molecular resonance: A microscope principle.
We demonstrate a technique in microscopy which extends the domain of atomic force microscopy to optical spectroscopy at the nanometer scale. We show that molecular resonance of feature sizes down to the single molecular level can be detected and imaged purely by mechanical detection of the force gradient between the interaction of the optically driven molecular dipole and its mirror image in a ...
متن کاملMission Planning and Execution Within the Mission Data System
Not only has the number of launched spacecraft per year exploded recently, but spacecraft are also getting progressively more complex as instruments become more capable and flyby missions give way to remote orbiters, then to rovers and other in situ explorers. To address the software issues in this expanding mission set, JPL started the Mission Data System (MDS) project – an effort to make engi...
