Microstructured All-Optical Switching Based on Two-Dimensional Material

چکیده

Microstructured all-optical switching, possessing the unique function of light controlling light, is an important part on-chip ultra-fast optical connectivity network and integrated logic computing chip. switching has attracted extensive research interest, latest great developments which have also yielded progress in nanophotonics, nonlinear optics, communications, etc. The emergence two-dimensional materials with good third-order nonlinearity provides driving force for improvement switches. This paper reviews implementation principles, novel configurations, improved performance indexes, based on different micro/nano switching. Not only a systematic discussion current state provided, but also, brief outlook afforded remaining challenges pursuit application practical microstructured that materials.
