MIG median detectors with manifold filter

In this paper, we propose a class of median-based matrix information geometry (MIG) detectors with manifold filter and apply them to signal detection in nonhomogeneous environments. As customary, the sample data is assumed be modeled as Hermitian positive-definite (HPD) matrices, geometric median set HPD matrices interpreted an estimate clutter covariance (CCM). Then, problem can reformulated discriminating two points on one which cell under test while other represents CCM. By filter, map another by weighting them, that consequently improves discriminative power reducing intra-class distances increasing inter-class distances. Three MIG are designed resorting three measures manifold, corresponding medians shown robust outliers. Numerical simulations show advantage proposed comparison their state-of-the-art counterparts well conventional
