چکیده

Millimeter wave (mmWave) communication is a promising New Radio in Unlicensed (NR-U) technology to meet with the ever-increasing data rate and connectivity requirements future wireless networks. However, development of NR-U networks should consider coexistence incumbent Wireless Gigabit (WiGig) In this paper, we introduce novel multiple-input multiple-output non-orthogonal multiple access (MIMO-NOMA) based mmWave WiGig network for uplink transmission. Our aim proposed maximize spectral efficiency while ensuring strict delay requirement transmission performance real time environments. A joint user grouping, hybrid beam coordination power control strategy proposed, which formulated as Lyapunov optimization mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) unit-modulus nonconvex coupling constraints. Hence, penalty dual decomposition (PDD) framework, first transfers MINLP into tractable augmented Lagrangian (AL) problem. Thereafter, integrate both convex-concave procedure (CCCP) inexact block coordinate update (BCU) methods approximately decompose AL problem nested convex subproblems, can be iteratively solved under PDD framework. Numerical results illustrate improvement ability strategy, well demonstrating effectiveness guarantee traffic performance.

High-power millimeter-wave rotary joint.

The rotary joint is a useful microwave component that connects a fixed part to a rotatable part. This study systematically analyzes the effect of the discontinuity on the interface of a rotary joint for several waveguide modes. Simulation results indicate that the transmission of the TE(01) mode is independent of the geometry of the joint, and thus is ideal for such application. A rotary joint ...

Joint Power Control and Beamforming for Uplink Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access in 5G Millimeter-Wave Communications

In this paper, we investigate the combination of two key enabling technologies for the fifth generation (5G) wireless mobile communication, namely millimeter-wave (mmWave) communications and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). In particular, we consider a typical 2-user uplink mmWaveNOMA system, where the base station (BS) equips an analog beamforming structure with a single RF chain and ser...

Millimeter Wave Multi-Beam-Switching Antenna

The paper introduces a high gain end-fire printed antenna operating at 14 GHz with a bandwidth of 2 GHz. The 3x3 antenna sub-array formed of this element is used to present its beam steering and multi-beam-switching capabilities for millimeter wave Massive MIMO antenna arrays of 5G networks. The co-existence of these two techniques in a Massive MIMO sub-array, aided by the use of a simple two v...

Optimal Beam Sweeping and Communication in Mobile Millimeter-Wave Networks

Millimeter-wave (mm-wave) communications incur a high beam alignment cost in mobile scenarios such as vehicular networks. Therefore, an efficient beam alignment mechanism is required to mitigate the resulting overhead. In this paper, a one-dimensional mobility model is proposed where a mobile user (MU), such as a vehicle, moves along a straight road with time-varying and random speed, and commu...
