چکیده
Abstract In cloud computing, there is a trade-off between SLAV (Service Level Agreement Violation) and system operating cost. Violation rates can be decreased when using more hosts, which increases costs. Therefore, to manage the resources of those hosts efficiently, finding an optimal balancing point cost critical. addition, cost-effective load approach based on proper migration VMs (Virtual Machines) in needed. For this purpose, some indicators are also necessary identify abnormal that violate SLA. One primary indicators, CPU usage, closely related energy consumption used reduce effectively. Our focuses special environment such as for scientific data. Here, most jobs data-intensive large amount disk operations required. Owing likely affect performance degradation host, bandwidth usage well should considered. study, we propose Min-Max Exclusive VM Placement (MMEVMP) strategy minimize both consumption. The current working called KIAF (KISTI Analysis Facility), CERN ALICE experimental data analysis, analyze characteristics within it. experiment, lightweight version CloudSim simulator was developed results were compared other methods different policies. evaluation showed our proposed SLA violation reasonably cost-effectively.

Survey on Virtual Machine Placement Techniques in Cloud Computing Environment
In traditional data center numbers of services are run onto the dedicated physical servers. Most of the time, these data centers are not used their full capacity in term of resources. Virtualization allows the movement of VM from one host to the another host ,which is called virtual machine migration, so these data centers can consolidate their services onto lesser number of physical servers th...

Cloud computing enables users to have access to resources on demand. This leads to an increased number of physical machines and data centers in order to fulfill the needs of users which are continuously on the increase. The increase in the number of active physical machines is directly proportional to the increase in the energy consumption. Thus, minimization of energy consumption has become on...

Virtual machine allocation problem is one of the challenges in cloud computing environments, especially for the private cloud design. In this environment, each virtual machine is mapped unto the physical host in accordance with the available resource on the host machine. Abstract— High-performance computing and vast storage are two key factors required for executing data-intensive applications. In comparison with traditional distributed systems like data grid, cloud computing provides these factors in a more affordable, scalable and elastic platform. Furthermore, accessing data files is critical for performing such applications. Sometimes accessing data becomes...

By pervasiveness of cloud computing, a colossal amount of applications from gigantic organizations increasingly tend to rely on cloud services. These demands caused a great number of applications in form of couple of virtual machines (VMs) requests to be executed on data centers’ servers. Some of applications are as big as not possible to be processed upon a single VM. Also, there exists severa...
