In this paper, we study the structural state and input observability of continuous-time switched linear time-invariant systems unknown inputs. First, provide necessary sufficient conditions for their that can be efficiently verified in O ( m n + p ) 2 , where is number variables, inputs, modes. Moreover, address minimum sensor placement problem these by adopting a feed-forward analysis providing an algorithm with computational complexity α . 373 target strongly connected components system’s digraph representation. Lastly, apply our to real-world example power illustrate results.
