چکیده

This research paper presents a model of predictive control with modulator for the inverter linked to electrical grid, using stationary reference frame and operating under grid distorted voltage. The system is obtained in its fundamental frequency then technique implemented, which predicts actions without need any other harmonic consideration. controller calculates voltage vector through minimization cost function. Thus, proposal demonstrates, experiments, positive results regarding low impact current consideration on model. Experimental comparisons carried out endorse this work.

A Grid Connected Transformerless Inverter and its Model Predictive Control Strategy with Leakage Current Elimination Capability

This paper proposes a new single phase transformerless Photovoltaic (PV) inverter for grid connected systems. It consists of six power switches, two diodes, one capacitor and filter at the output stage. The neutral of the grid is directly connected to the negative terminal of the source. This results in constant common mode voltage and zero leakage current. Model Predictive Controller (MPC) tec...

Finite Control Set–Model Predictive Control with Modulation to Mitigate Harmonic Component in Output Current for a Grid-Connected Inverter under Distorted Grid Conditions

This paper presents an improved current control strategy for a three-phase grid-connected inverter under distorted grid conditions. In terms of performance, it is important for a grid-connected inverter to maintain the harmonic contents of inverter output currents below the specified limit even when the grid is subject to harmonic distortion. To address this problem, this paper proposes a modul...

Low Voltage Ride Through Enhancement Based on Improved Direct Power Control of DFIG under Unbalanced and Harmonically Distorted Grid Voltage

In the conventional structure of the wind turbines along with the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), the stator is directly connected to the power grid. Therefore, voltage changes in the grid result in severe transient conditions in the stator and rotor. In cases where the changes are severe, the generator will be disconnected from the grid and consequently the grid stability will be attenu...

Analysis of Model Predictive Current Control for Voltage Source Inverter

Abstract: Model predictive control has become a promising control technology in power converter, because of the good dynamic response and accurate current tracking capability. This study mainly analyzes and verifies the Model Predictive Current control (MPC) of a three-phase voltage sources converter. The MPC controller predicts the behavior of the converter for each possible voltage vector on ...

Model Predictive Control of Distributed Energy Resources with Predictive Set-Points for Grid-Connected Operation

This paper proposes an MPC - based (model predictive control) scheme to control active and reactive powers of DERs (distributed energy resources) in a grid - connected mode (either through a bus with its associated loads as a PCC (point of common coupling) or an MG (micro - grid)). DER may be a DG (distributed generation) or an ESS (energy storage system). In the proposed scheme, the set - poin...
