Modeling and Simulation of Silicon Solar Cells under Low Concentration Conditions

Today’s research on concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) cells focuses creating multi-junction semiconductor solar capable of withstanding high temperatures without losing their properties. This paper investigated silicon low (LCPV) devices using Fresnel lenses. The parameters the CPV cell were measured to simulate its operation based a single-diode model with four and five parameters. most optimal position lens relative was shown, dependence efficiency concentration ratio, incident power, temperature studied. Experiments heating conducted build under different radiation machine learning. Additionally, cooling system developed, experiments for one LCPV cell. resulting used predict electrical power output change pattern clear day data. Results modeling show increase in generated energy by 27% compared non-concentrated cells. Cooling consumption simulated, optimum regime determined. proposed can be as hybrid heat electricity source, generation, does not require new production technologies.
