MODELING OF GROUNDWATER LEVEL CHANGES DUE TO DEEP WELL EXTRACTION USING MODFLOW IN THE NORTH OF BANDAR LAMPUNG

The growth rate of urban areas in the north Bandar Lampung has caused extraction groundwater resources through deep well pumping to increase. Therefore, it is necessary study impact prevent depletion. This performs numerical simulation modeling identify on changes levels three sub-districts city. Modeling done using MODFLOW-6 and ModelMuse as a graphical user interface (GUI). method uses steady-state transient models with four stress periods 2000, 2010, 2020, 2030. A total 30 data wells are used for model setup, 15 them observation validation points. results show that hydraulic head occur at depths 10 m more than 40 m. Drawdown concentrated points radius up 1 km. also successfully identified decrease level 8 deepest area DW1. Thus, take action can overcome due from wells. Furthermore, storage engineering be one solution by utilizing rainwater harvesting technology recharge aquifer system.
