چکیده

Dengue is the most important mosquito-borne viral disease in world. In 2017, a concerning increase dengue cases with high mortality was seen India Kerala topping list. Changing pattern of circulating virus serotype and co infection multiple serotypes contribute to increasing trend severity increased fever. The present study focused find prevalent central prevalence here an attempt correlate these clinical : This descriptive done Microbiology department Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur for period 18 months. Blood samples clinically suspected fever which were positive NS1 antigen having not more than 5 days subjected molecular methods detect RNA followed by multiplex RTPCR its serotype. Demographic features, details lab parameters also collected from each patient. A total 108 RT-PCR. Among them 61(56.5%) All 4 found DENV-2 30 (49.2%) being predominant DENV-1 20 (32.8%), DENV-3 12 (19.6%) DENV-4 2 (3.27%). Three (4.9%) DENV-1,2, DENV-1, DENV-2,3 found. Two among patients (1.85%) died study. Significant correlation between could be due very few severe encountered during DENV-2. 4.9% proves that this area has become hyper endemic disease, increases risk emergence cases.

Molecular detection of mixed infections with multiple dengue virus serotypes in suspected dengue samples in Tamaulipas, Mexico

This study aimed to detect dengue virus (DENV) serotypes in serum samples obtained in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico, and to determine the concordance of conventional nested reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and a serological test [enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA NS1)]. Here, we detected mixed infections consisting of four serotypes of DENV. The most prevalent sero...
