چکیده

Uncontrolled tourism activities cause the destruction of nature and deterioration ecological balance. Since coastal areas are both economically socially important, monitoring shoreline changes has become one important research areas. Monitoring short-term long-term in is to prevent damages that may occur due natural human factors protect shorelines. In this study, which an tourist city Antalya, Turkey, world, using historical recent satellite data have been analyzed. The focus study analyze change with Landsat obtained every 5 years between 1985 2020 annual Sentinel-2 2015 2020. water on coastline were determined by object-based classification multiresolution segmentation method Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI). shorelines analyzed Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) tool statistically. Five-year 35-year compared Linear Regression Rate (LRR) End Point (EPR) analyses. As a result when Pearson’s r value EPR LRR was examined, found 0.916 0.944 for 5-year data, respectively. Spatial resolution images vital detection. However, most optimal way detect use data. Although spatial it observed power variation differences lower than Sentinel-2.

Monitoring and Predicting Urban Land Use Change Applications of Multi-Resolution Multi-Temporal Satellite data

The ability to map and monitor the spatial extent of the built environment, and associated temporal changes, has important societal and economic relevance. Multitemporal satellite data now provide the potential for mapping and monitoring urban land use change, but require the development of accurate and repeatable techniques that can be extended to a broad range of conditions and environments. ...

Estimating PM2.5 Concentrations in Xi'an City Using a Generalized Additive Model with Multi-Source Monitoring Data

Particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter <2.5 μm (PM2.5) represents a severe environmental problem and is of negative impact on human health. Xi'an City, with a population of 6.5 million, is among the highest concentrations of PM2.5 in China. In 2013, in total, there were 191 days in Xi'an City on which PM2.5 concentrations were greater than 100 μg/m3. Recently, a few studies have explor...

Monitoring water stress in Mediterranean semi-natural vegetation with satellite and meteorological data

In arid and semi-arid environments, the characterization of the inter-annual variations of the light use efficiency ε due to water stress still relies mostly on meteorological data. Thus the GPP estimation based on procedures exclusively driven by remote sensing data has not found yet a widespread use. In this work, the potential to characterize the water stress in semi-natural vegetation of th...
