Researchers in many nations are focusing more on the growth and usage of marine field, it is apparent that study field will be future development trend. The present adopts idea polarization imaging based liquid crystal phase retarder as a solution to drawbacks conventional industrial camera clarity. Various optical thicknesses employed characterize sea fog concentration; an outside equipment constructed for research; pictures comprising characteristics may determined through image processing. Using multi-band factors, benefit environment assessed objectively using contrast, information entropy, degree polarization, other evaluation indices. results demonstrate quality superior intensity outline target pronounced image. Additionally, effect better 670 nm band, contrast increased by 1.9%. trend picture impacted time period, but roughly equivalent This gives solid platform surveys civic operations under conditions dense fog.
