Multi-objective co-optimization of power and heat in urban areas considering local air pollution

چکیده

This paper suggests a novel framework to co-optimize the power and heat in smart cities considering local air pollution from energy generation units traffic fumes. To achieve aim, city comprised of is addressed. The system can be connected main grid or operated as stand-alone system. Connecting grid, trades wholesale electricity market with price uncertainty. In order operation cost control levels urban area, Combined Economic Pollution Dispatch Problem (CEPDP) developed. CEPDP optimized under constraints both Increasing applicability suggested approach, density addressed using Box model while wind speed surface roughness influence on it. solve CEPDP, multi-objective Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA II) proposed. approach implemented virtually-designed located center Iran. results show that although use distributed decreases global emission all over world, it transmits suburban areas increasing pollution. two conflict objectives, i.e. pollutions, may change meet environment requirements cities.
