A Fast Algorithm for Blind Separation of Sources Based on the Cross-cumulant and Levenberg-marquardt Method
In this paper, a new algorithm for the instantaneous mixture of the blind separation of sources problem is derived. This algorithm deals with Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) channels. The cost function proposed in this paper can be considered as an extension of that previously proposed by us (Mansour-Jutten 6]) for only two sources and two sensors. The cost function is based on the cross-cumula...
متن کاملMultichannel Blind Separation of Sources Algorithm For Instantaneous Mixture
The algorithms of blind separation of sources, in the general case and for instantaneous mixtures, are based on high-order statistics; most of them use the fourth-order statistics. For an instantaneous mixture of only two sources, we proposed in [14] an algorithm of blind separation of sources. The separation was achieved by minimizing the cross-cumulant (2x2) of the two output signals. The min...
متن کاملLevenberg Marquardt ( LM ) Algorithm 1 –
1 – Introduction Parameter estimation for function optimization is a well established problem in computing, as there are countless applications in practice. For this work, we will focus specifically in implementing a distributed and parallel implementation of the Levenberg Marquardt algorithm, which is a well established numerical solver for function approximation given a limited data set. Para...

متن کاملA Levenberg-Marquardt Method based on Sobolev gradients
We extend the theory of Sobolev gradients to include variable metric methods, such as Newton’s method and the Levenberg-Marquardt method, as gradient descent iterations associated with stepwise variable inner products. In particular, we obtain existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic convergence results for a gradient flow based on a variable inner product.
