Abstract We study the importance of social interactions on occupational choice in Victorian London using a multinomial model within an incomplete network. Individuals form heterogeneous rational expectations about their peers' behaviors, taking into account characteristics and strength ties. show conditions under which endogenous, exogenous, correlated effects can be identified unique equilibrium established, Using novel data set, we proxy groups by parish boundaries ties geographic distances, Our results endogenous reveal distinct occupation.
