چکیده
Abstract. Nitryl chloride (ClNO2), an important precursor of Cl atoms, significantly affects atmospheric oxidation capacity and O3 formation. However, sources ClNO2 in inland China have not been fully elucidated. In this work, laboratory experiments were conducted to investigate heterogeneous reactions N2O5 with eight saline mineral dust samples collected from different regions China, substantial formation was observed these reactions. yields, ?(ClNO2), showed large variations (ranging <0.05 ?0.77) for samples, depending on mass fractions particulate chloride. addition, ?(ClNO2) could increase, decrease or show insignificant change when relative humidity (RH) increased 18 % 75 %. We further found that current parameterizations overestimated uptake onto dust. assuming a uniform value 0.10 dust, we used 3-D chemical transport model assess the impact reaction tropospheric weekly mean nighttime maximum mixing ratios by up 85 pptv during severe event May 2017. Overall, our work be source China.

Mineral dust and global tropospheric chemistry: Relative roles of photolysis and heterogeneous uptake
We investigate the influence of mineral dust on tropospheric chemistry in the present climate at the global scale. The analysis examines the effects of dust on photolysis and heterogeneous uptake, operating independently and together. In numerical experiments the size-resolved, time-varying mineral dust distribution predicted by the global Dust Entrainment And Deposition (DEAD) model perturbs t...
متن کاملElement and mineral characterization of dust emission from the saline land at Songnen Plain, Northeastern China.
Recent observations of Asian dust storms show an eastern expansion of the source area to degraded lands, where dust emissions have been little studied. The dust concentrations over the saline land of the western Songnen Plain (SSL), Northeastern China, are circumstantially higher than those from the northwestern Chinese deserts. These concentrations are sensitive to the surface soil conditions ...
متن کاملSoil as a Source Contributor in Mineral Dust Fallout at Urban Industrial Residential Area
The components and quantities of atmospheric dusts fallout has been reported to be the pollution indicator of large urban areas. The multiplicity and complexity of sources of atmospheric dusts in urban regions (e.g. industrial complexes composed of a variety of industrial processes, automobiles, construction activities etc.) has put forward the need of source apportionment of these sources indi...

15 صفحه اولHeterogeneous uptake of gaseous hydrogen peroxide on mineral dust.
The heterogeneous uptake processes of hydrogen peroxide on Arizona test dust and two types of authentic Chinese mineral dusts, i.e., Inner Mongolia desert dust and Xinjiang calciferous dust, were investigated using a Knudsen cell reactor coupled with a quadrupole mass spectrometer. The uptake coefficients were measured as a function of the initial concentration of H2O2 from 2.6 × 10(11) to 1.2 ...
