New Approaches for the Observation of Transient Phenomena in Critical Marine Environment

This paper focuses on the development of new approaches to observe transient phenomena in critical marine environments using autonomous vehicles (AMVs) for acquisition physical and biogeochemical parameters water seabed characterization. The connection with metrological principles, together adoption observing methodologies adjustable according specific environment being studied, allows researchers obtain results that are reliable, reproducible, comparable those obtained through classic monitoring methodologies. Tests were executed dramatically dynamic, sensitive, fragile areas, where study application is required strongly localized space requiring very high resolutions, time.
