Note-taking with convertible laptops in teaching-learning consecutive interpreting. Results from an MA Degree programme pilot study

Different areas within interpreting are now beginning to make specific use of generic information and communication technologies (ICT) provide help support for interpreters. Consecutive is one the modalities in which ICT can have a major impact, so this article deals with introducing digital devices as note-taking tool. In more terms, it presents pedagogical pilot study students teachers Conference Interpreting MA Degree programme at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (MUIC). After trial, views lecturers alike were collected via questionnaire. It concludes proposal related teaching aspects should be taken into account before these consecutive training.
