Numerical Analysis of Entropy Generation in a Double Stage Triangular Solar Still Using CNT-Nanofluid under Double-Diffusive Natural Convection

The analysis of entropy generation provides valuable information for the design and optimization thermal systems. Solar stills are used water desalination purification. Using renewable energies, they provide a sustainable solution drinking supply in remote areas off-grid situations. This work focuses on 3D numerical study two-stage solar still subjected to natural double diffusion convection phenomenon presence CNT nanoparticles. effects Rayleigh number, buoyancy ratio, nanofluid concentration thermal, solutal, viscous irreversibilities flow structure were studied. results show that increasing ratio leads an increase solutal generation. this also total is minimal positive volume force ratios, N, at nanoparticle fraction around 3%, negative N 4%.
