• Background about the main components of HPs is presented. Fluid flow and thermal performance are discussed. Numerical simulations in various applications elaborated. Critical challenges recommendations given. Nowadays heat pipes considered to be popular passive transfer technologies due their high performance. The pipe a superior apparatus which latent vaporization employed for an extended distance under limited operating temperature difference. simulation devices principal step before implementing real-life as many parameters can tested cost-and time-effective behaviors. present study provides review numerical different such cooling electronic components, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), nuclear reactors, solar energy systems, electric vehicles, waste recovery cryogenic, etc. Firstly, this work introduces background evacuated tube, wick, working fluid. fluid characteristics pips discussed, considering optimum parameters. Finally, critical future encountering broad application thoroughly studied.
