Numerical Simulation on Erosion Wear Law of Pressure-Controlled Injection Tool in Solid Fluidization Exploitation of the Deep-Water Natural Gas Hydrate

The pressure-controlled injection tool (PCIT) is the key equipment in process of high-pressure water jet fragmentation solid fluidization exploitation deep-sea natural gas hydrate (NGH). internal flow field erosion wear numerical simulation model PCIT established through computational fluid dynamics software to study influence law and main factors drilling PCIT. laws different physical parameters structural on were analyzed based Euler–Lagrangian algorithm bidirectional coupled discrete phase (DPM) solid–liquid two-phase model. results show that easily eroded areas are cone sliding core, plug transition section, surface, axial passage. core inlet angle particle size affecting rate. When 30°, diameter solid-phase particles less than 0.3 mm, degree could be effectively reduced. research can provide guidance for design application advance early realization commercial hydrate.
