چکیده
The solid–liquid two-phase centrifugal pump is one of the core power equipment solid phase material hydraulic transportation, widely used in engineering, petrochemical industry, marine metal mineral exploitation, urban sewage treatment, and other sectors national economy. There a significant increase need to transport dense fine particle slurry industrial production. Under this condition, influence parameters on performance still not clear. In order study flow wear characteristics transported by an open impeller pump, Re-Normalization Group k − ε discrete models Fluent were describe flow. numerical model validated with experimental data pump’s performance. indicates that size concentration have great impeller. blade pressure surface most serious. With size, area expands leading edge upper blade. These results can provide supporting theories for design medium conveying pump.

Experimental Study and Three-Dimensional Numerical Flow Simulation in a Centrifugal Pump when Handling Viscous Fluids
In this paper the centrifugal pump performances are tested when handling water and viscous oils as Newtonian fluids. Also, this paper shows a numerical simulation of the three-dimensional fluid flow inside a centrifugal pump. For these numerical simulations the SIMPLEC algorithm is used for solving governing equations of incompressible viscous/turbulent flows through the pump. The k-ε turbulenc...

Dense slurry flow through centrifugal pump casing has been modeled using the Eulerian-Eulerian approach with Eulerian multiphase model in FLUENT 6.1. First order upwinding is considered for the discretization of momentum, k and ε terms. SIMPLE algorithm has been applied for dealing with pressurevelocity coupling. A mixture property based k-ε turbulence model has been used for modeling turbulenc...

The performance of the electric submersible pump (ESP) significantly affected by Gas Void Fraction (GVF). Thus, using of a Rotary Gas Separator (RGS) is a suitable solution for this issue. The performance of the RGS is function of different parameters such as geometry of impeller, rotating speed, boundary conditions, media viscosity and GVF. In this study, the influences of GVF, viscosity, ...
